Sanxingdui Museum (2)
These four exhibits are: a small pottery figurine, a jade badge with figures and decorations, a bronze giant in a tuxedo, and a bronze tree and a bird of god (do you remember? )
The bronze museum is the second exhibition hall, which is filled with all kinds of bronzes, just like an all-sheep banquet. Steamed mutton, braised mutton brisket, stewed sheep bones and roast leg of lamb all smell of sheep at once.
The bronze museum has three floors, circular stairs, and a clever central axis with pictures and truth behind it.
I didn't go into the bronze museum as soon as I came out of the comprehensive museum, but I found a restaurant first.
According to the previous habits, we usually buy some dry food and bananas in the convenience store in advance, and then go directly to the next stop after eating anywhere, or leave for half a day. Since I ate a big platform, Purple Mountain, curry rice and hot coffee in Nanjing Museum last winter, I realized that a rich meal can greatly beautify the visiting process. It's like adding a layer of beauty to ordinary photos.
The two exhibition halls of Sanxingdui Museum are located in two areas of Sanxingdui Park. There are trees, flowers, sculptures and recliners on a large green space. There are also all kinds of fried chicken, French fries, fried sausages and ice cream with bronze masks. But these are not my dishes.
I want to eat, rice.
The reason why I am so determined to eat rice is because I read the introduction of the venue in advance and said that there is a Chinese restaurant in Sanxingdui Park. I went a long way by intuition and finally found it. The place is not small, and there are many people. Go through the door and walk around the snack in front. Many things happen, and finally I broke into a big restaurant, eating rice and cooking.
I ate a plate of green pepper fried bacon and four bowls of rice, savored the rich oil fragrance left by bacon, and then walked into the bronze museum with great interest.
Sanxingdui archaeology has not found any words at present, so everything can only be guessed (guessed), and the basis of guessing is often ancient books. However, even a serious record like Historical Records inevitably contains Sima Qian's personal subjective color. The archaeological discovery of Sanxingdui inferred from myths and legends such as Shan Hai Jing has an open (unreliable) answer.
Others have no evidence at all and can only guess hard. For example, on the mask, there is a big hole in the eyebrow and a small round hole in the earlobe. What's the intention?
No one can stand such a big mask. In the explanation, it is said that the mask can be hung on a big tree, and the square hole and the small round hole are fixed points. I think the mask does have a curvature, which is suitable for being tied to a round tree or a stake, but what material should be used to fix these few fixing points?
If the storm comes and the mask blows from the tree, it will be a big killer. It is estimated that many people will lose their heads.
Walking around the biggest mask, you will see a row of flat masks with small heads, which are elegant in decoration and friendly in expression, and personally feel very feminine. Are these all Zhen Xuan series?
Unfortunately, researchers named them-small animal faces.
The next thing I saw was the extra large bronze mask of this accessory. Look at the words next to it-bronze crown vertical mask, which I have seen in Guo Bo.
Living with such a big ornament on his face, the aesthetics of ancient Shu people completely ignored human nature three or four thousand years ago.
The protruding cylindrical eyeball is also very inhuman.
Ears, cute, I can accept it.
No matter at home or abroad, especially in ancient civilizations, there is a worship of eyes. There are temples dedicated to eyes, and there is a custom of drawing eyes on the fingers of Bodhisattva.
The eye is the window of the soul, and it is still the most spiritual of the five senses until today.
After several rounds, the bronze mask on the first floor is finished. Go up the circular staircase to the second floor, and you will see all kinds of bronze heads.
Attention, it's an avatar. An upgraded mask!
Every time I see the words "Zhong Ming Shi Ding", I think of my father. The name of his old home is hidden in this idiom.
When I was a child, I studied in an enterprise children's school. My classmate's parents are colleagues and know each other very well. Every time a history teacher or a Chinese teacher mentions "Zhong Dingwen", the whole class will look at me and snicker, which makes me extremely embarrassed. "I can't wait to get into the cracks" was my true mentality at that time.
Now when I see the words "Zhong Ming Shi Ding", besides thinking of my dad, I will also see a group of bell ringers, surrounded by ministers, eating and drinking, with great country demeanor and imperial atmosphere. It's a pity that all my childhood classmates were scattered and separated, otherwise there would be another chance of "Zhong Dingwen", and I must take back this face.
According to my father, his name was invented by my grandfather. My grandfather is a scholar, but he won't do it himself. Instead, he asked others to name his only son, which is interesting.
Of course, my dad's name is really not tacky.
The bronzes I saw before were all pots and pans, but in Sanxingdui, I can't help but marvel at so many exquisite non-mainstream bronzes!
The exhibition hall on the second floor is dark as a whole, deliberately creating a sense of mystery, and some decorations are decorated in scarlet, giving tourists many psychological hints: power, sacrifice, death, blood ... maybe I think too much.
The neck of each bronze head is pointed, as if it were inserted somewhere. Perhaps the raw materials of bronzes (copper, tin and lead) are too expensive, and only the most important parts are cast with bronzes and preserved permanently, and the rest are made of wood and have been reduced to ashes. This situation is not uncommon. There are many small clay figurines without arms in the Hanyang Mausoleum Museum in Xi 'an, and the same principle applies (arms are made of wood).
Speaking of which, I don't understand. Isn't the mask originally used to hide your true colors? However, the masks and heads of ancient Shu are the same, and perhaps the pottery molds during casting are also a series.
On the opposite side of a whole row of honor guards, four bronze heads with Jin Mianju were displayed respectively. The gold mask is thinly attached to the face of the bronze head, just like a gold mask.
The great event of the country lies in respecting peace and honor.
Archaeologists reconstructed the sacrificial scene three or four thousand years ago according to the artifacts unearthed from two sacrificial pits, plus various scrutiny and judgments. It is worth mentioning that all the objects in it are not fictional, but physical objects.
Seeing this huge array, no matter how real it is, my admiration for archaeologists is like endless water.
As mentioned earlier, the complex has a central axis and consists of four most representative precious cultural relics.
The bronze museum we see now has four floors. In the center of the spiral staircase, there is a replica bronze sacred tree magnified several times, which is the central axis of the bronze museum. At least I think so.
When I woke up, I found that my head was falling to my chin, my neck was sore and sore, and there were many people around me. It took me a few seconds to react. Who am I? Where is the land I come from? where am I going?
Ok, continue upstairs along the stair ramp.
If the last big scene of sacrificial restoration seen on the second floor is a suspense, then the following will discuss the objects at the sacrificial site in detail one by one. This is where the layout of the museum is wonderful and the story is told.
The expensive enamel jar in Amazon Mall has delighted netizens all over the country for several days, especially when I saw a serious statement in the product introduction column: this container is mainly used to hold fruit or red wine bottles, highlighting the traditional colors of the East ... These are all jokes caused by research mistakes. However, the bronze ware above is really a container for wine, and its name is one million times higher than that of the jar, and it is called Zun.
It is common to see such a bronze statue in most museums in China, but everyone disagrees. But in Sanxingdui, this is a rare imported object. The following statues are not bronze directly imported from the Central Plains, but new varieties improved according to the tastes of ancient Shu kings after careful study of imported products. Sanxingdui gene can be seen from the complex patterns of bronze wares.
There is not only a very complicated hand-painted Sanxingdui pattern on the background wall, but also a big word explaining the text.
In order to further emphasize to tourists that Sanxingdui statue belongs to the product of cultural exchange, the museum specially selected two photo puzzles to stand together for our comparison.
Next, this group of bronzes is similar to Zun, but not as exaggerated as Zun's big mouth. Its name is Qian, which seems to be related to wine vessels. Let's think of it as a hip flask with different styles. This pronunciation is the same as "Lei", which is easier to remember. The pronunciation is two tones.
After reading the improved versions of "Zun" and "Qian" in Sanxingdui, I can't help but have a lot of questions at once. ...
Why didn't ancient Shu learn the most popular bronze "Ding" and "Gui" in Shang and Zhou Dynasties, as well as other pots, pans, rituals and music?
Why don't Central Plains people have intellectual property rights (cloning) for the wonderful ideas unheard of in Sanxingdui culture, such as bronze sacred trees, bronze colossus, bronze masks and so on?
Well ... I can't seem to think of any other good questions, just two.
The creative design works of these eccentric elves are really hard to prevent. In the exhibition hall on the third floor, eye-popping designs pop up from time to time.
The upper part is a bit like a human leg, wearing tights with lines on it, and a pair of bird claw boots below, but a bird with a long mouth is stepping on it. Organs are connected, much like bones and joints.
Looking at this wonderful exhibit, I soon thought of the first American drama "The Visitor at the Bottom of the Atlantic" introduced by China. Mike and his girlfriend walked hand in hand to the depths of the ocean, and when they walked, they grew a pair of flippers, swimming like fish (too long to remember); Then I remembered Andersen's mermaid. When dating the prince, the fish tail becomes a human foot, and every step is like stepping on a sharp knife tip. Psst ~!
Of course, perhaps we all misunderstood the original intention of the ancient Shu kingdom, just as it was difficult for us to understand the climate in Sichuan at that time, just like Xishuangbanna.
The following bronzes, among the wonderful works, I wonder what they are.
As shown below, it looks like a lower body in a skirt, called a bronze statue, and there is nothing wrong with it; But the trouble is that the pattern on the skirt is reversed. It seems that there is no such precedent.
On the other hand, the pattern is pleasing to the eye, but how can it be like a person playing handstand?
Then there is the famous bronze "steering wheel" of Sanxingdui Museum. This stalk has been popular for a long time, and I have never understood it. As a result, I couldn't help laughing when I saw it with my own eyes in the exhibition hall. It really looks like the steering wheel of a car!
At this point, the visit to Sanxingdui Bronze Museum has come to an end. Look at the time. It's past three in the afternoon, and the high-speed train back to Chengdu is at five in the afternoon. I wonder if it's a little too late. Do you want to change to an earlier train? Now it seems that this timing is just right.
Actually, I'm exhausted here, and I don't want to look closely. I didn't expect the physical strength of the lever to fall off the chain. Watching married laborers with children holding a baby. By this time, they were all exhausted, stumbling and pitiful.
Strong spirit, deep breath, I decided to stick to it!
All kinds of sacred birds occupy a large share in Sanxingdui bronzes. Some of their mouths are long and curved, shaped like eagle beaks, and the proportion is amazing; Some mouths are sharp and thin, which is more in line with the real delicate birds; Other mouths are thicker and darker, like the one below.
There is a bird-shaped collection of Sanxingdui on the background wall, and all kinds of shapes are clear at a glance. Being able to carry realism and modernism to the end, from headdress to mouth, to wings and tail, really convinced these ancestors.
Many of them have been visited before, the rockhopper is the cutest, and there are surprises behind.
The archetypes of the characters appearing at the sacrificial scene are now on stage one by one, starting with the bronze man with the antenna transmitter overhead (don't wear it in rainy days! Say the important things three times). I remember that Uncle Martin on Mars has two antennas on his head, and Teletubbies has an antenna on his head. Don't praise me for watching so many cartoons.
The epidemic ended last year, and primary and secondary schools across the country resumed classes one after another. While we were busy, we were surprised to see the pictures on the internet: the photos of primary school students wearing official hats in the Song Dynasty, claiming to keep their distance for epidemic prevention and control. This stunt is really amazing.
Seeing the bronze figure kneeling below, the five senses are different from others, and I always feel like a slave. They don't wear decent clothes, and their hats are full of unruly rage.
This is a real altar. Experts said that the fragments collected at the scene are scattered and cannot be recovered by archaeological forces. They can only try to recover through research. This altar can be understood as divided into three layers. The bottom layer is the underworld (two beasts with calm expressions), the middle layer is the human world (four warriors who hold the sky), and the top layer is the heaven. A beautiful bird with a rockhopper, the palace holds a sacred box, which contains a group of people with status. The above statement is purely personal conjecture and has not been verified.
Snakes, in the eyes of westerners, are ominous. Because they seduced Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they violated the first contract between God and mankind and were convicted of a felony. They can only skate on the ground with their bellies for life. However, in China, snakes are animals with dual personalities. On the one hand, it is called Xiaolong, which is on the list of the zodiac; On the other hand, it is the real guy who can scare people to death.
Ye Gong is a dragon and can also be used on snakes.
Look at the background wall if you don't know this animal. I didn't recognize it at first, but at first glance it looked like a sheep.
Okay, okay, it's finally done. I'm exhausted!
Finally, a group of historical photos of Sanxingdui No.1 and No.2 sacrificial pits were excavated.
Finally, Sanxingdui left the audience with a set of open questions.
After watching the exhibition, I walked around the park and hurried out to find a car to go to high-speed railway station.
Luckily, there is a bus parked in front of the museum, with air conditioning and seats. Put on a mask, swipe your card and 2 yuan can get on the bus.
After taking the high-speed train, I began to think about the problem of tea, rice, oil, salt, sauce and vinegar: what to eat at night?
I remembered that there was a food stall on the way back to the hotel, and the No.1 shrimp restaurant was full of people. Swallowing saliva, I had an idea in my heart: just go there!
