What's the climate of Shanghai?
Shanghai has four distinct seasons, abundant sunshine and rainfall. Shanghai has a mild and humid climate, with shorter spring and autumn and longer winter and summer. In 20 13 years, the average temperature in Shanghai is 17.6℃, sunshine is 1885.9 hours, and precipitation is 1 173.4 mm. More than 60% of the annual rainfall is concentrated in the flood season from May to September.
The subtropical monsoon climate, also known as subtropical monsoon climate, is controlled alternately by tropical marine air masses and polar continental air masses. The non-periodic change of weather and seasonal change of precipitation are obvious mid-latitude monsoon climate types. Subtropical monsoon climate appears on the east coast of subtropical continent, such as the south of Qinhuai River and the north of tropical monsoon climate in China. Some geoscientists also believe that Daba Mountain area is more suitable as the subtropical northern boundary of China than Qinling Mountain area.
