Why is it said that locust trees tend to attract ghosts? Please explain it from the perspective of Feng Shui, thank you.
In the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, Wang You, the minister of the Ministry of War, wrote excellent articles and had great political achievements as an official. He believed that the descendants of the Wang family would definitely have a public minister, so he planted three locust trees in the yard as a symbol. Later, his son Wang Dan became the prime minister and was known as the "Wang Family of Sanhuai" at that time. He built a Sanhuai Hall in Kaifeng. You see, after planting three of them, the descendants became high officials. The power of this locust tree is really not small! Another allusion is the well-known "Nanke Yimeng", which is recorded in "The Biography of the Prefect of Nanke" written by Li Gongzuo of the Tang Dynasty. It is said that Chun Yufen, a native of Guangling, was drunk and fell asleep lying under the locust tree in the yard. I had a dream. I dreamed that I arrived in Dahuaian Kingdom, married the princess, and served as the prefect of Nanke for twenty years. My official career was very glorious. But later because of the defeat in the battle and the death of the princess, he was sent home. Then I woke up and saw my family cleaning the yard. The sun hadn't set yet, and the wine bottle was beside me. He looked around and found an ant hole under the locust tree. The country of Dahuai'an where he was an official in his dream turned out to be this ant hole. The southernmost branch of the locust tree is Nanke County where he is the governor. It can be seen that the locust tree has the ability to make people dream. No wonder it is called a wood ghost. Therefore, when Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty built Shanglin Garden, officials from far away presented famous and exotic trees. Among them, the locust tree was listed as an exotic tree and contributed more than 600 trees. It is not unreasonable.
