What is the union of heaven, earth and man?
There should also be Jihe and Sihe
"Sihe" is Yan Chongnian's philosophy of life. Yan Chongnian believes that "stopping at the highest good" is the highest state of human nature cultivation specified in "The Great Learning", that is, reaching the great state of "the highest good". Specifically, "stopping at the ultimate good" means scientifically adjusting the four-dimensional relationship between heaven, earth, people, and self to achieve the "four harmony", that is, to achieve the harmony of heaven, earth, human beings, and self. Reaching the Four Integration is a process, constantly approaching the "Four Integration" and climbing to the highest realm of life.
Tianhe is the relationship between heaven and man, which is a major feature of Chinese culture and life wisdom. There are many interpretations of heaven: destiny, way of heaven, principles of heaven, time of heaven, etc. The sky mentioned here mainly refers to the time of day. When a person lives in the world, the first thing he faces is the weather. Sima Qian said: "Study the relationship between heaven and man", which means to explore the relationship between heaven and man. "Heavenly hours" include big heavenly hours and small heavenly hours. Wei Yuan said in "Shengwu Ji": "The small time of heaven determines the sharpness and bluntness, and the time of great heaven determines the rise and fall." That is to say, those who achieve small things must have small times, and those who achieve great things must have great times. The weather is constantly changing. "The Book of Changes" says, "Heaven moves vigorously, and a gentleman strives to constantly strive for self-improvement." It means that the heavenly bodies are constantly moving, and people must continue to work hard. Since man and nature are often at odds with each other, how can we make them "come together"? The important thing is to know the weather, follow the weather, and not lose the weather. The first is to know the weather. People often say: "He who knows the current affairs is a hero." One of the characteristics of a talented person is to "know the current affairs", that is, to know the weather and understand the affairs. The observation of heaven and earth by outstanding figures in ancient times mainly focused on comprehending and adapting to the heaven and earth. The second is to comply with the weather. "Laozi" said: "Move at the right time." "Mencius Li Lou Shang" also said: "Those who obey the heaven will survive, and those who go against the heaven will perish." They all say that actions must comply with the heaven and earth. The third is to keep the right time. "Jin Shu·Xuan Di Ji" says: "A sage cannot go against the time, nor lose the time." The relationship between man and heaven is: neither go against the time, nor lose the time.
Earth conjunction mainly refers to the balanced relationship between the environment and oneself. The meaning of "dihe" is broader than "geographical advantage". It has four main meanings: first, knowing the geographical advantage, secondly, utilizing the geographical advantage, thirdly, borrowing the geographical advantage, and fourth, saving the geographical advantage. That is to say, people living in the same place are both contradictory and harmonious. We seek harmony in contradiction, seek development in harmony, and strive for a balance between ourselves and the environment.
Human harmony includes not only the harmony, seeking common ground, and integration between people, but also the differences, contradictions, and conflicts between people. When doing things and being a good person, being an official or serving in government, "harmony between people" is an important condition. Those who want to do great things must have great "people". It can be said that the greater the "people's cooperation", the greater the broad mind, the higher the realm, and the greater the career. The so-called "renhe" encounters a difficult problem: how to deal with villains and enemies. When you meet friends and noble people, be respectful; when you meet villains and enemies, be grateful.
Jihe is mainly about physiological balance, psychological balance and ethical balance. First, physiological balance. Human physiology is often in an imbalanced state, so people will get sick. People are often racked by illness and pain. Sickness has external causes, and more importantly, internal causes. To maintain physiological balance and promote good health. Strictly speaking, how healthy your body is, how great your career can be. We must be good at adjusting the internal factors of the body and maintain a balanced and healthy body as much as possible. Second, psychological balance. Human psychology is often in a state of imbalance, so there is depression, worry, anxiety and irritability. To achieve psychological balance, the most important thing is your mentality, and you must have a golden mentality. The so-called golden mentality means to be sunny and joyful when encountering difficulties, to be magnanimous and open-minded when encountering grievances, to be indifferent and calm when encountering ups and downs, and to be humble and cautious when facing success. Specifically, we should pay attention to things that are calm, humble, and rebellious. Third, ethical balance. Ethical balance focuses on self-cultivation. The "Eight Eyes" of "The Great Learning" are: investigating things, seeking knowledge, sincerity, upright mind, self-cultivation, managing the family, governing the country, and bringing peace to the world. Self-cultivation is not only the basis for studying things, improving knowledge, sincerity, and correct mind, but also the basis for managing the family, governing the country, and bringing peace to the world. Therefore, the core of the "Eight Eyes" is self-cultivation, and the essence of self-cultivation is self-denial and good deeds, which means "stopping at the highest good", that is, achieving the "four harmony". The goal pursued by self-cultivation is: "Look up so that you are not ashamed of Heaven, and be so bowed that you are not humbled by others." ("Mencius: Devoting Your Heart") Like the artistic conception of self-cultivation pursued in Fan Zhongyan's "Yueyang Tower": "Be worried about the world first, and then worry about the world." Be happy and happy.
"Strive to reach the highest state mentioned by Zhang Hengqu: "Establish a heart for the world, establish a destiny for the living and the people, inherit the unique knowledge for the saints, and create peace for all generations.
