How much is five?
The five elements of qi, also known as the five movements, namely, gold, wood, water, fire and earth, are named after their operational changes. The movement and change of qi in heaven and earth take one year as a big cycle, so does the metabolism of human body. A year is divided into four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. In these four seasons, the interaction between heaven and earth has produced five elements of qi that affect, act on and preside over the metabolism of all things.
Wood gas acts on the spring of the four seasons, on the morning of a day, and on life, that is, adolescence in life. Wood gas is a kind of gas, which has the power of hair growth. In Feng Shui, water is the master of wealth, and wealth is the source of life. In geomantic omen, water comes first, so there are many rich people in the land of water towns. Jishui has the characteristics of moistening, bending and hiding.
Anger has a bright, beautiful and upward power. The rustic atmosphere is a neutral atmosphere, which acts on the earth and is called the season and the moon. It is a period when the seasons change with each other. Like the earth, the earth is all-encompassing and virtuous. Soil is the platform for the transformation of Jin Mu Fourth Line. Therefore, without the function of soil, the other four lines of qi can not be transformed and circulated, and the rustic spirit has endurance and transport, so the rustic spirit is the spirit of faith.
Application of Five Elements in Traditional Chinese Medicine
1, the theory of luck expands the five elements of yin and yang into five movements and six qi. The theory of Neijing takes Yin-Yang and Five Elements as the framework. This framework can be regarded as what Kuhn, an expert in the history of science, calls a scientific paradigm. It refers to the sum of the beliefs, values and technical means possessed by academic members in a certain period, and is the basis and criterion of academic operation.
2. After the ancestors of China entered the farming and animal husbandry society, they attached great importance to time factors such as seasons and six qi. The pathogenic problem of four seasons and six qi has been discussed in many articles. Among the seven major works, the discussion on five movements governing diseases and six qi governing diseases is the most true and systematic, which is not only true and accurate, but also lays a theoretical foundation for etiology and epidemiology of traditional Chinese medicine.
3. Qi theory is the core of China's ancient traditional science and philosophy. Five Blessingg is from Hetu. Based on the harmonious operation between man and nature, it is a theory that nature creates noumenon, changes of nature and the occurrence, operation and transformation of human functions.
