Is it reasonable not to punch in and pay for work?

It is unreasonable not to punch in and pay for work.

Employers who don't punch in at work can deduct a part of performance pay according to the attendance system and performance appraisal system, which is unreasonable.

Punching in without deducting wages is a disguised way to reduce the remuneration of workers and an act that infringes on the legitimate rights and interests of workers. You can complain and report to the labor inspection brigade of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. If employees do not fully follow the company's attendance system, the company will deduct the corresponding salary, which should be part of the performance salary of attendance items in performance appraisal, and the basic salary of workers should not be deducted illegally.

According to the relevant laws and regulations, if an employer infringes upon the legitimate rights and interests of workers in any of the following circumstances, the labor administrative department shall order it to pay wages and economic compensation to the workers, and may also order it to pay compensation:

1, deducting or unreasonably delaying the wages of workers;

2. Refusing to pay workers wages for extended working hours;

3, below the local minimum wage standard to pay the wages of workers;

4. Failing to give economic compensation to the laborer in accordance with the provisions of this Law after the termination of the labor contract.

Legal basis: Article 50 of the Labor Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Wages should be paid to the workers themselves on a monthly basis in the form of money. The wages of workers shall not be deducted or delayed without reason. The so-called salary refers to the labor remuneration paid by the employer or the statutory employer to the laborer in the form of money according to laws, industry regulations or agreements with the laborer.
