Why is Manjusri Bodhisattva Dojo in Xinzhou, Shanxi? Is there any factual basis?
No Zen master, a native of Yongjia, entered Wutai Mountain in the second year of Tang Dali and signed a bill at Huayan Temple. One day, when I was visiting the Prajna Sutra Building, I suddenly saw a lucky bird passing overhead and flying to the northeast. The next day, there were two white lights coming from the northeast. All the monks in the same room see it differently. I have no heart, and I hope to see Manjusri Bodhisattva. After going to the King Kong Cave, it is convenient to sit on the stone and meditate. Just as I was closing my eyes, I suddenly heard someone scolding the cow for drinking water. When I opened my eyes, I saw an old man, wearing a short brown Ma Xie and wearing a towel on his head. He was leading the cow to drink water, so I didn't need to greet him in a hurry and ask him where he came from. Answer:' if you ask for food outside the mountain, you will use it in Taishan.' And asked Wu:' Where did the benevolent come from and why did he come here?' There is no answer:' I heard that there is a King Kong Cave, and I came to worship the sacred site.' When the old man invited Wu to visit his fine house, he led the cow forward, but Wu did not follow. When he arrived at the temple, the old man shouted three times, and a boy answered the door, took the cow rope from the old man and led the cow into the temple.
the glass in the temple is the ground, and the roof tiles are dazzling, gorgeous and solemn, which is not owned by the world. The old man sat on the white gums, pointing to a golden mound, and the boy offered tea and crisp cheese, which made him feel very comfortable. There is no need to ask the old man:' How can I live in Buddhism here?' Answer:' dragons and snakes are mixed, and all saints live together.' After asking many young people, the old man said,' The first three three, the last three three.' The old man asked nothing:' What did you want when you first became a monk?' There is no answer:' seek Mahayana bodhicitta.' Ask again:' tooth wax geometry?' No answer:' thirty.' The old man said,' You're very pure, and you'll be fine when you're 38.' Immediately, he ordered him to go down the mountain and gave him a gift:' A pure mind is bodhi, which is better than building seven pagodas in Hengsha. After all, the pagodas are shattered into dust, and a pure mind becomes enlightenment.' He also ordered everyone to take him down the mountain, and the boy walked out of the King Kong Cave without asking,' What's the name of Galand here?' The boy smiled and asked where he had just come from. No answer:' King Kong Cave.' Boy: What's the word under King Kong? A:' Prajna.' The boy said,' Galand just now was prajna temple.' Without this, the enlightened old man is the incarnation of Manjusri Bodhisattva, and he begged for a word because of his kowtow to the boy. The boy steadied himself and sang,' It is true that there is no anger on the face, no anger in the mouth, no treasure in the heart, no stain and no dirt.' In an instant, the boy and the temple lost their place. I only saw the mountains and rocks, but I went down the mountain without sadness and ended up living in Wutai Mountain in seclusion.
Fa Zhao Zen Master also signed a bill in Yunfeng Temple, Hengzhou (now Hengyang) in the second year of Tang Dali. One day, I was eating porridge in Zhaitang, and colorful auspicious clouds suddenly appeared in the bowl. There was Wei Eshan Temple in the clouds, a mountain in the northeast of the temple, a stream at the foot of the mountain, a stone gate in the north of the stream, and a temple when I entered from the stone gate. There is a gold inscription on the forehead of the temple, which is called' Great Sage Chikurinji'. Fa Zhao was surprised. Why is there such a scene in the bowl? Two days later, when eating porridge, the Wutai Mountain Temple scene appeared in the bowl. Pavilions and pavilions, majestic and majestic, covered with sands, are not human. Manjusri Bodhisattva, the great wisdom, and more than ten thousand saints were among them, and they didn't disappear until they finished eating porridge. According to his doubts, Fa asked the monks that Jia Yan and Tan Hui had been to Wutai Mountain from time to time, saying that what he saw was the sacred land of Wutai Mountain. According to the law, the idea of worshipping Wutai Mountain arose.
In the fourth year of Dali, Hudong Temple in Hengzhou started to build the Dojo of chanting Buddha in the Ninth Five-Year Meeting. On the afternoon of June 2nd, according to the teacher in the high-rise building of the temple, I saw Xiangyun in the distance, and a pavilion appeared in the cloud. In the pavilion, the Brahma monk held the tin street and was more than ten feet tall. Amitabha, together with Manjusri and Pu Xian, stood high in the middle, and gradually disappeared until the unitary time. That night, outside the Dojo, the master Zhao met an old man and said to him,' You made an early intention to go to the Golden World and ask for the Great Sage. Why not?' Answer:' it's a long way to go.' The old man said,' but if you decide to go, there will be no difficulty.' Since then, I have vowed to go to Wutai Mountain. On August 13th of the same year, I went with my teacher from Nanyue and started to Wutai Mountain on April 5th of the following year. Everyone in the same trade saw several white lights in Bukkoji, and when they arrived in Bukkoji on the 6th, what they saw was just like what they saw in the bowl. That night, there was a flash of light flying down from the north mountain, and it shone on the Zen master. When asked about the monks, he said,' The Great Sage does not think about light, and often shines on people who are destined.' According to the teacher's first visit, he traveled more than 5 miles to the northeast, and there was a mountain, a stream under the mountain, and a stone gate in the north of the stream. In front of Shimen, there are two eight or nine-year-old children in Tsing Yi, one is called good fortune, and the other is called difficult tuo. When he saw the master Zhao coming, he was glad to ask questions and led him into the temple. He walked several miles to the north and wrote in big gold letters:' Great Sage Chikurinji.' The temple is about 2 miles wide, and 12 people enter the courtyard. There are pagodas in the courtyard, the halls and pavilions are solemn, gold is the land, and the canals and trees are full of them.
When the teacher entered the lecture hall, he saw Manjusri in the west and Pu Xian in the east. According to the lion's high seat, the wonderful dharma sound was announced, and there were more than ten thousand saints around the Buddha who heard the dharma. Fa Zhao saluted the two masters, and asked,' The last ordinary man went to the holy land far away, but he didn't know what method to practice?' Manjusri Bodhisattva replied:' Among all the practitioners, it is the most important to recite the Buddha, to support the three treasures and to practice both wealth and wisdom. I remember that in my past robbery, I gained all kinds of wisdom because of watching Buddha, thinking of Buddha and supporting Buddha. Therefore, all dharma prajnaparamita and even buddhas are born from chanting buddhas. Therefore, I know that chanting Buddha is the king of all laws, so you should be the king of all laws without interruption. " Fazhao asked again,' How should I pronounce it?' Manjusri replied:' In the west of this world, there is a Buddha named Amitabha, and that Buddha is willing to work hard, which is incredible. After the end of his life, all sentient beings have decided to live in the land of that Buddha, quickly prove Bodhi and never turn back.' Follow the two tuas, each with a golden hand, and touch the top for the dharma. Manjusri Bodhisattva added,' You can go to other hospitals to inspect the ceremony.' According to the law, the fruit in Qibao Orchard is ripe, and it is as big as a bowl. You can eat it after picking it, and your body and mind are calm. Finally, he was sent out of the door by the two Tsing Yi boys, and lost his place in an instant. Sadly, because the stone is remembered, it is said that this stone is still there.
In December of the same year, Fa Zhao recited Buddhism in Huayanyuan Dojo, and he was born with pure land during the hunger strike. At the first night of the seventh day, I saw a Buddhist monk say to him,' Why didn't you say anything when you saw the boundary of Taishan?' I can't see what I said The next night, when I was reading Buddha, I saw the Brahma monk come and said,' Why didn't you tell people about the sacred land of Wutai Mountain? Pursue the masses to develop bodhicitta?' According to the teacher,' I really didn't mean to say that I was afraid of suspicion and slander, and I didn't get benefits and suffered.' The Vatican monk said,' Manjusri, the Great Sage, is now in this mountain and is still being slandered. What do you see? But let all living beings know about this person, be bodhi, get rid of evil and promote good, and be happy from suffering. " According to what the teacher saw before, record it in the book and pass it on to others.
