Shi Naian (about 1296-137), whose original name was Yan Duan, whose name was Zhao Rui, whose nickname was Zi 'an and whose nickname was Nai 'an. A native of Xinghua, Taizhou, born in Suzhou, the son of Zhouren, was born in Baiju Town, Xinghua (now Dafeng District, Yancheng City). Shi Naian Mausoleum

It is more than ten miles west of Shi Naian Memorial Hall (now in Shijiaqiao, Xinduo Town, Xinghua City, Taizhou), which is Shi Naian Mausoleum. A brick three-door archway stands in front of the tomb, with a stone carving of "Naian Gongfang" hanging on the middle beam. The tomb is among pines and cypresses, and the stone tablet of "Rebuilding Shi Naian's Tomb" written by Zhao Puchu stands in front of the tomb. There is also a green island nearby, and a small river flows around the island. People look down from a height, but it looks like a lion's (shizi's) plate of hydrangea, so it is commonly known as "a land of feng shui". In p>1992, the governments of National Cultural Heritage Administration, Jiangsu Province and Dafeng County allocated special funds for the Shi Naian Memorial Hall, which started construction in August and was completed in August 1993.

Shi Naian Memorial Hall, located on Huajiaduo Island in the western suburb of Baiju Town, Dafeng City, Jiangsu Province, is said to be the place where Shi Naian wrote books. Here, surrounded by clean water, the harbor is rustling, the sand birds are flying low, the fishing boats are singing slowly, and the reeds are dense, which has a strong flavor of "Water Margin". Visitors here will be suspicious that they have really arrived in Liaoer Depression, Shui Bo, Liangshan. People walk up Huajiaduo from Shui Bo Bridge in the south, and turn east to find Shi Naian Memorial Hall, which covers an area of 2,815 square meters, including a building area of 1,478 square meters.

Structure in the museum

Entering the plaque gate of Shi Naian Memorial Hall written by the famous calligrapher Qi Gong, you can see a marble statue of Shi Naian (made by the sculptor Ye Zonggao) with a rigorous and interesting structure. The front and rear halls, the left and right side halls, the left and right stele corridors and the half pavilions built on both sides of the backyard are the first to enter. The hall displays cultural relics and historical materials related to Shi Naian, which are divided into four parts: Shi Naian's family background, life story, writing anecdotes and social influence. There are hundreds of cultural relics and historical materials such as Shi Nagato's genealogy, the unearthed epitaph of Shi Naian's only son Shi Gongrang and Shi Rang Di Zhao, and the great-grandson Shi Tingzuo's epitaph.

According to incomplete statistics, there are 53 versions of Water Margin in China since the reign of Jiajing. It is also widely circulated abroad. There are translations of Water Margin in Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Italy, France, Russia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania and other countries. There are more than 2 kinds of Japanese translations, and Cang Kejia, Feng Qiyong and other famous national poets, painters and calligraphers praise Shi Naian's various artistic works. The influence of Shi Naian and his work The Water Margin is very great.
