When was the first car in China born?
On May 31, 1931, the first domestically produced automobile, the Minsheng Model 75 truck, finally came out.
To celebrate the launch of the first domestically produced car, Liaoning Mortar Factory held a grand celebration meeting. The vehicle weighs 1.82 tons, has a long head and is brown. It uses a six-cylinder water-cooled gasoline engine with 65 horsepower. The front and rear wheelbase is 4.7 meters. The four front and rear wheels are single tires. The maximum speed is 40 kilometers per hour.
The self-designed buffer rear axle also has its own characteristics. The water tank is divided into four parts. Even if one part is damaged, the car will still run normally. In addition to the original vehicle parts such as the engine, rear axle, electrical device, tires, etc., the factory has redesigned and manufactured other parts.

The first car after the founding of New China:
The first car was born on July 13, 1956. The process is unimaginably difficult: it was built amidst the ruins of the bacteria factory left behind when Japan invaded China. Before that, we “were not able to build even a car except tables and chairs.”
On July 13, 1956, two days before the third anniversary of the founding of the automobile factory, the first car was born. From this day on, the history of China being unable to manufacture cars ended, and our own cars continued to drive out from here in greater numbers day by day.
