Longhui County, located in Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, when did it start to be called Longhui and how long does it have?
It belonged to the Chu region during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. During the Three Kingdoms period, in the first year of Wu Baoding (AD 266), Zhaoling was divided into Gaoping County, and the county was governed by Youjiao Village of Yonggu Tuan (today’s Xiaoao Brigade of Daqiao Commune). In the first year of Taikang (AD 280) of Emperor Wu of the Jin Dynasty, Wugang County was divided into Duliang County, and the county seat is now Taohuaping. Today's Xiaoshajiang District) was divided into Longhui Division and unified under Shaoyang County. "When Longhui County was established, it basically governed the original Longhui Division area and continued to use "Longhui".
In October 1949, Longhui was liberated, the Longhui County People's Government was established, and the county seat was moved to Taohong Town. In 1950, it was incorporated into Ziyang Township and most of Shijiang Township in Wugang County. In 1952, it was incorporated into Gaoping, Luohong, Miaotian and other places in Xinhua County.
In 1956, Xiping Township in Wugang County and Yanertang Township in Xupu County, as well as Miaoshanping, Lumaotang and other places were included. At this point, the size of the county was determined.
