How to reserve commemorative coins
The reservation period of commemorative coins and banknotes in the Year of the Loong in 2024 is June 3, 2024 to June 4, 2024. Reservations can be made through online channels such as official website, mobile banking client or official WeChat account of Weizhong Bank.
During the booking period, each person can only make an appointment once through the online booking channel, limited to 20 pieces/piece. After the appointment period, the People's Bank of China will check the public's appointment information, and those who pass the check can be exchanged normally.
If online booking is too hot, there may be offline queuing, but the success rate of this method may be low, because the number of people making reservations may exceed the bank's exchange quota.
Precautions for appointment
When making an appointment for ordinary commemorative coins, citizens can only make an appointment at the business outlets of banking financial institutions with their second-generation identity cards. After the appointment period, the People's Bank of China will inquire about the public's appointment information.
The verified public can exchange it normally. If a citizen uses the same second-generation ID card to make an appointment at two or more banking financial institutions, the verification fails and it cannot be exchanged.
After 24: 00 on the second working day after the end of the appointment period, the public can log in to official website, a banking financial institution that made an appointment to check the appointment results. All banking financial institutions will send short messages to feed back the reservation results according to the mobile phone number reserved by citizens when making an appointment. The booking result is subject to the inquiry on the booking website of banking financial institutions.
