I will contribute to the World Expo and be a little master of Xi’an. Proposal
Whose wonderful pen is that, embellishing such extraordinary things in the dense deep green all over the mountains and plains? Whose whimsy is it, blowing a moving song in the gentle spring breeze? ? Whose skillful hands secretly moved the supreme beauty here? Everyone should know what I am talking about, right? Of course it’s the Expo.
The Shenyang World Horticultural Exposition is the world's only "World Expo in the Forest". Walking into the "Expo Park", I found that the characteristics of the Expo have been sublimated in the landscape construction. The builders made full use of the forest landscape and topography in the planning, ranging from places for tourists to rest, stop, and catering services, to large cultural landscapes, embodying the theme of harmonious growth between man and nature. You see, the paths in the forest are deep, the mountains and wild flowers are fragrant, and the small bridges and flowing water... It just makes me linger.
Okay, let me talk about the central building of the whole park.
The central building of the whole park is undoubtedly the 125-meter-high Lily Tower. With a total height of 120.5 meters, the Lily Tower is the largest sculptural building in the world, equivalent to a height of 35 stories, and its appearance resembles a tall lily. It means the prosperity and harmonious development of all industries in Shenyang; it is the highest point of the whole park. From the two observation decks at 95 meters and 100 meters, you can have a bird's eye view of the whole park.
The Lily Tower is a regular elliptical cylinder from the ground to a height of 70 meters. From 70 meters to the top 120 meters, the steel structure is gradually "cantilevered", with each height section facing outwards. Explore the extension and build two-story sightseeing platforms at 95 meters and 100 meters respectively. The total amount of steel used in the Lily Tower reaches more than 800 tons, most of which is used in the "overhang" part of the top of the tower. To get a bird's-eye view of the tower, visitors need to enter the tower from the two-story basement and take a 2.5-meter-per-second high-speed elevator to the top. In order to facilitate disabled people to reach the high-speed elevator entrance, Lily Tower has specially installed an elevator with a lifting range of only more than 5 meters for the exclusive use of disabled people. In addition, visitors can also take the walking stairs to the Lily Tower sightseeing platform.
Let’s talk about the Rose Garden, one of the four themed buildings.
The Rose Garden of the Expo, which has more than 3,000 species and about 100,000 flowers, opened its hijab for the first time yesterday.
More than 80% of the rose varieties in the rose garden debuted in Shenyang for the first time. So many roses make Shenyang the city with the most rose varieties.
Entering the main entrance of the rose garden, a rose gallery running through the north and south of the park divides the rose garden into two. There are three themed gardens on the east and west sides of the Rose Gallery. On the west side are the wave garden, forest garden and labyrinth. All large-flowered roses are planted in the Wave Garden. On the protruding high ground on the west side of the Wave Garden is the Forest Garden. Clusters of roses are randomly arranged in groups of three and five, contrasting with several large trees. The rows of cypress trees on the south side of the forest garden form a miniature maze. Due to limited space, the paths in the maze can only accommodate one adult. On the east side of the Rose Gallery are three European-style theme gardens.
The world gave Shenyang a chance, and Shenyang returned the world a miracle. The 2006 Shenyang World Horticultural Expo is really a miracle, so handsome.
