There are only two seasons in Ethiopia: dry season and rainy season. The annual temperature is close to spring in China, and the temperature in Addis is almost the same as that in Kunming. Just wear a sweater in the coldest time. It will be colder sooner or later, but it won't be too cold. Now should be the best season. You can basically buy daily necessities locally. If you want to save money, you should prepare more yourself.

Due to the altitude, there are not many mosquitoes in Addis, and there is not much danger (malaria) when bitten. The local folk customs are simple and friendly to China people, so it is a better country in Africa.
