How to identify the weather by observing clouds?

Cirrocumulus is a small round cumulus with wavy lines, which is often called "fish scale sky". Generally speaking, it will be sunny.

Similar to cirrocumulus, altocumulus indicates sunny weather, but it is wider, with thicker clouds and love in white. Usually after a rainstorm.

Cumulonimbus is a low-level Lei Yun with dark clouds. The height of the tower cloud can reach more than 6 kilometers, and the flat cloud at the top is called the felt top. Cumulonimbus clouds often bring storms and lightning.

Cirrus is a high-level bunchy cloud composed of ice crystals, which is why it looks pure white. It is also often called ponytail cloud, which also means sunny weather.

Cirrostratus: It's made of ice particles. It looks like the grain of white clouds. These are the only clouds that glow around the sun or the moon. If cirrostratus expands, it means the weather is fine; If cirrostratus contracts, it means rain.

If the sky is covered with cirrus clouds, the sky above the cirrus clouds will darken and gradually form a cirrostratus, which indicates that rain and snow are coming.

Under the sunlight or moonlight, the clouds at the top look like gray curtains. If wet air approaches, the cloud disk will disappear and the clouds will thicken and darken until it rains.

Stratocumulus is a kind of low-level tiled cloud, which usually covers the whole sky. Clouds are so thin that sunlight can come in directly through them. They may bring thunderstorms, but they usually disappear in the afternoon, leaving a bright and clear blue sky.
