Humble Administrator's Garden 14 Zhong Yuan Xiao Cang Lang Shui Yuan
xiaocanglang is located on the south side of xiaocanglang water courtyard, and it is named after Canglang pavilion in Su Shunqin in the northern song dynasty, which means seclusion. The pavilion is three rooms wide, with a window in the south and a sill in the north, facing the water on both sides. Its shape is very unique, like a house, a boat, a bridge, and it is a water pavilion on the water. Wen Zhiming's title is Xiao Canglang's couplet, which tastes delicious; The book has a quiet middle edge. Another couplet is, Qing Si Zhuo Ying, Turbid Si Zhuo Zu; Wise people enjoy water, while benevolent people enjoy Leshan.
Xiao Feihong is located on the north side of Xiaocanglang Shuiyuan, named after the poem "Baiyun" written by Bao Zhao in the Southern Song Dynasty. Xiaofeihong is an extremely rare covered bridge in Suzhou gardens. It is connected to the curved corridor south of Yiyuxuan in the east and to Zhenting in the west. It is a kind of spatial extension when the veranda wades through the water, and it is also a fairyland on earth formed by the superposition of aesthetic time and space. Today, the small flying rainbow, the stone pillars and the Liang Shi are decorated with vermilion columns and columns, and the color scheme is calm, which is in harmony with weeping willows, pines and cypresses and rocky rocks on the shore. On both sides of the bridge deck, there are swastika guardrails, three rooms and eight columns, which cover the gallery. The plaque of "Little Flying Rainbow" written by the famous calligrapher Mr. Zeng Gengxi hangs at the entrance to the east. The moss and wear marks on the grey tiles on the roof of the rolling shed tell the long years and ups and downs in the humble administrator's garden.
Dezhen Pavilion is located in the northwest corner of Xiaocanglang Shuiyuan, where two corridors meet: Xiaofeihong Gallery Bridge in the northeast and Xiaocanglang Shuige in the south; To the west, the veranda twists and turns to the Magnolia Hall. The pavilion faces north, facing the lotus wind in the water, and Xiangzhou, with its unique shape, looms among the large flowers and trees behind the rockery. The name of "Dezhen" seems to be quite pedantic. Xunzi says, "As for pine and cypress, it can be said that it is really true that it has not withered in the middle of winter and remained unchanged in frost and snow." Jin Zuosi also wrote a poem "Bamboo and cypress are true". In those days, the garden owner borrowed pine and cypress to express his lofty self. Originally, the pine, cypress and bamboo here were lush and gratifying. Now there are many osmanthus plants in the green space in front of the pavilion, accompanied by purple bamboo and a small rockery. The original intention of "getting the truth" has evolved into the pure aesthetic nature of "getting the truth of nature". In the middle of the pavilion, there is a big mirror hanging, and the surrounding landscape and flowers are reflected in the mirror, which is quite a realm of "the clouds in the mirror are like a painting screen", and the true interest of nature lies in the mirror. Because the pavilion will continue the covered bridge, a small square pavilion is projected in front of the rectangular plane, with the big pavilion as the rest peak and the small pavilion as the pyramidal roof. The combination of the two makes the outline of the pavilion varied. There is a couplet of Kang Youwei's book on the wall of Dezhen Pavilion: "Pine and cypress have nature; The stone sees the heart of the alliance.
Songfeng Shuige is located on the east side of Xiaocanglang Shuiyuan, also known as Tingsongfeng, which is a place to watch the pines and listen to the waves. This water pavilion has a square roof and a closed space. It enters and exits through the small door between the corridors, and the other three sides adopt the structure of half wall and half window. The eaves of the roof are very large, and the cornices are especially high, showing a graceful, elegant and light style. The whole building does not adopt a regular direction of due south and due north, but is inclined at a 45-degree angle, and it can be hung on the water in the air to avoid the sun and ventilate, which is most suitable for viewing in summer. There are several black pine trees planted on the side of the pavilion. The wind blows, the pine branches move away, the pines sound, and the colors and sounds are all ready, which has a unique flavor.
