The stray cats picked up are very thin and don't eat.
Whether it is a big cat or a kitten, in this season of late autumn and early winter, keeping warm is the most important, and sometimes the priority is even higher than feeding.
You can find a paper box that can hold cats, and spread wiped newspapers or waste clothes and towels on the bottom of the paper box. If possible, it is best to put a warm water bag at the other end of the carton to keep the ambient temperature around the carton as warm as possible.
Check your physical condition.
Observe the cat's physical condition and see if it has enough strength to act independently.
If you are a kitten or a cat with mobility difficulties, you can buy some yogurt and goat milk powder in a pet shop, a pet hospital or a convenience store, then brew it with warm water, and then buy a syringe to feed the cat to replenish energy. Avoid cold food or feeding with milk, because cats can't break down lactose, and eating milk is prone to lactose intolerance, while yogurt and goat milk are slightly stronger.
But if you are an autonomous cat, you can buy a small amount of cat food in a pet shop or a pet hospital, and then soak it in warm water to feed the cat.
Only by replenishing energy can we cope with the follow-up rescue.
Check your health.
See if the rescued cat has any symptoms such as tears, runny nose, retching and skin diseases. If there are symptoms, it is best to send them to a pet hospital for treatment in time (generally, when a pet hospital sees a stray cat sent to the hospital, it can be emphasized that it is a rescue and it will not be too dark).
Seek network help
If it is a kitten within 3 months, it is difficult for people without practical experience to support themselves. With the above series of rescue processes, you have given the little tramp a chance to survive. But if you want it to survive, you should ask the local rescue organization for help. You can give it to a reliable rescuer and charge a certain fee. It is ok for a kitten to live for 3-50 days. Or feed yourself under their guidance (but to be honest, office workers or students really can't do this).
If it is a small cat or an adult cat, you can choose to collect adopters online, or of course you can adopt them yourself.
Pay attention to isolation
If you plan to adopt by yourself, no matter whether there are other cats or small animals at home, it is best to feed them in isolation for about a week and observe the health of the cats. Don't kiss, hug and hold high in a hurry. You know, cats have some skin diseases.
If you can get the help of senior rescuers around you in time, I believe you can take better care of this stray cat. I also hope this little guy can recover soon and become a family child under your care.
