The first phase of Guangzhou University Town is located in Xiaoguwei Street, Panyu District, Guangzhou. The urban area is located on both sides of the Pearl River, covering an area of 34.4 square kilometers. The second phase of Guangzhou University Town is located on the south bank of Xiaoguwei Island, covering an area of 25.3 square kilometers. Together with the first phase of University Town and Guangzhou International Biological Island, with a total area of 73 square kilometers, it will be built into a municipal-level strategic development platform-"Guangzhou International Innovation City", which integrates science and technology innovation center, international science and education cooperation base, international science and technology incubation base, international first-class talent training special zone, Guangzhou new economic growth pole and Guangzhou science and education new city.
