I have a question: My body is very strong but my face is very dry. What’s going on?
Facial muscles also need to be exercised.
1. Exercise the upper eyelid levator muscles to prevent upper eyelids from sagging. With your eyes open, raise your eyebrows as high as possible and stay there for 5 seconds. Then, without moving the eyebrows, let the upper eyelids look down into squinting eyes, and stay there for another 5 seconds before returning to their natural state. Do this 3 times each time.
2. Exercise the muscles of the corners of the mouth on both sides. The corners of the mouth of elderly people often droop in a figure-eight shape, which is the reason for unnatural facial expressions. 1. Close your lips slightly, roll your upper and lower lips toward the middle of your mouth, tilt the corners of your mouth to the left and right, and lift each upward for 5 seconds. 2. Make your lips form a U shape and pull the corners of your mouth as far as possible to both sides for 5 seconds. Do this 5 times each time.
3. Exercise of zygomatic muscles. Open the mouth slightly longitudinally, and lift the corners of the mouth as high as possible until a space is formed between the teeth and the buccal mucosa. Stay for 5 seconds. Do this 3 times each time. Insisting on zygomatic muscle exercise can effectively prevent the depression caused by stiffness and recession of cheek muscles.
When exercising facial muscles, please note: 1. When doing facial muscle exercises, you must relax mentally and physically. 2. Check muscle movement in the mirror. 3. Concentrate your attention and make your consciousness move along with the muscle activity at the same time. 4. Move your muscles slowly and fully. 5. Be patient and persist in exercising every day. 6. Don’t use too much force at the beginning.
If you bother chewing gum, it will also have the effect of exercising!
