According to information from the official website of the Xingtai Municipal People's Government, the toll intersection from Pingxiang to Xingtai was affected by heavy fog on July 2, 2023, resulting in road closures. Xingtai, referred to as "Xing", formerly known as Xingzhou and Shunde Prefecture, is a prefecture-level city in Hebei Province. It is a node city of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, an advanced manufacturing base and a logistics hub in central and southern Hebei Province approved by the Hebei Provincial Government.
