Brief introduction of Qingfu town
Qingfu Town is located on the Nanguang River, in the middle of Yun Chuan Road, 44 kilometers away from Yibin City. Qingfu Town has a long history. In the fourth year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (AD 630), Shimen County was located, Jiqu County in Tianbao and Qingfu County in the third year of Song Zhenghe (113). It was the seat of Qingfu County until 1959 was merged into Gaoxian County. Qingfu Town covers an area of 137.65 square kilometers, governs 29 administrative villages, 3 street communities and 320 village (residential) groups, with a total population of 58,000, including 37,900 mu of cultivated land. The forest coverage rate is 37%. This is the new address of Gaoxian county government.
