How horrible is Kangxi Jingling? The palace is full of water. Why not clean it up?
/kloc-during the period of 0/928, warlords led by Sun Dianying, a thief from Dongling, robbed and destroyed many tombs of Qing emperors. After stealing the tombs of Qianlong and Cixi, the Sun Dianying gang that originally intended to steal the tomb of Kangxi gave up at the critical moment. Because Sun Dianying and others intend to enter the Jingling underground palace, they found a large amount of yellow water flowing out of the underground palace. They were worried that these liquids were poisonous, so they gave up the excavation of Jingling.
Although the grave robbers in Sun Dianying did not destroy Jingling, it was not long before Jingling escaped the fate of being stolen. 1945, a group of bandits opened the underground palace of Jingling, and they stole a large number of precious funerary objects of Jingling.
They opened the gate of Jingling underground palace and looted the buried objects in the underground palace. The bones of Emperor Kangxi were casually thrown to the ground by bandits. Because the underground palace is low-lying and the door of the underground palace is open, after years of wind and rain, the underground palace is full of water. And the bones of Emperor Kangxi have been soaked in the water of the underground palace.
It is rumored that Jingling underground palace is very dangerous, and there are many organs in it. Every rainy season, the underground water will be two meters deep. Later, the Qing Dongling set up a cultural relics preservation center, and the staff sealed the stolen cave in Jingling, but did not clean up the accumulated water in the underground palace. The underground palace of Jingling is full of waist-deep water, so people think it is eerie.
