What is the longest mountain range in Guangxi?
100 thousand mountains, an important climate dividing line in the southwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The mountains run northeast-southwest and the southwest extends to Vietnam. Length170km, width15 ~ 30km. The mountain is about 1000 meters above sea level, and the main peak Yanling is 1462 meters above sea level, which is the highest point in southern Guangxi. Shiwandashan area is the negative unit of sag structure since Mesozoic. Mesozoic red rock series (sandstone, shale and conglomerate) are thick and widely distributed. Since Tertiary, fold faults have risen and become the youngest fold mountain range in Guangxi. The mountain is high in the south and low in the north. The southern 1 200 ~ 1 400 m ridge constitutes the main axis of 100,000 mountains, and the terrain gradually decreases to the north, with a series of monoclinic mountains and hills of 850 m, 700 m, 550 m and 400 m in turn. Most rivers develop along the hillside and flow northward, belonging to Yujiang River system. Due to the influence of many rows of monoclinic terrain, rivers develop along staggered faults and between two monoclinic mountains, and the riverbed turns sharply and there are many dangerous beaches. The river on the south side of the mountain is short and flows into the sea alone.
