The natural climate of Baicheng Town

Baicheng Town is located in the center of Baicheng Basin and has a continental mid-temperate arid climate. The weather is cooler in summer and the temperature difference between day and night is large. The annual average temperature is 7.6°C, the frost-free period is 163 days, and the average annual rainfall is 96 mm. It freezes or snows in November every year and thaws in early March of the following year. There is less wind in winter. The lowest temperature over the years is -28°C, the highest temperature is 38.3°C, and the average summer daytime temperature is around 25°C. The Televichuk River and the Kapuslang River flow from north to south on both sides of the town, and meet at the south side of the town and flow into the Muzati River, making Baicheng Town located in the triangular alluvial zone formed by the two rivers. The average underground water level is about 7 meters, and the water source is abundant.
