Huaqing Village, located in Dongliuli, Qishi Town, was a village with multiple surnames in the Yuan Dynasty. Because the village is built by a stream, every time it rains heavily, the flood goes out to sea through the stream, and it is turbid on the top and clear on the bottom, hence the name "clear on the bottom" and elegant as Huaqing. In the fourth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (137 1), a branch of the Lu family of Datang (now Lufeng) in Haifeng County moved here and settled down, gradually forming a large family. In the Qing dynasty, it became a village with a single surname. The population is 25,800, which is divided into one village, two villages, three villages where Lushi moved, four villages where Lushi moved to Lufeng Datang, Xipu Village (Lushi) and Jinjita Village (Lushi). There are historical sites in the village, such as Huang Ancestral Hall and Lushi Pillow Crab Ancestral Hall. Settlements are distributed in blocks from north to south along the hillside, and most buildings are mud-wood bungalows. The main crops are rice, sweet potatoes and peanuts, with 5000 hectares of salt fields, and the salt people account for 10% of the total population. There are 690 mu of shrimp ponds and 250 mu of fish ponds. There are several private enterprises, such as clothing and paper making. 30% of the workforce is engaged in the construction industry. County Road X 122 Line A (Lufeng Jiazi) Bo (Gong 'ao) Highway passes through the village. Master Feng Shui called Huaqing "the hometown of lions"
