Where does Zhangjiajie Furong Garden belong?

Zhangjiajie Furong Garden is located in the core area of Zhangjiajie New Town, with Tianmen Mountain as its back and Lishui as its face. This is a rare land of geomantic omen, which has been famous for its rich and precious lotus flowers since ancient times.

This used to be an old hut. According to legend, Maogang Tusi Wang once went to Lishui and was fascinated by the beautiful scenery of lotus flowers. He ordered the back garden to be built here, and regarded lotus as the auspicious flower of Tujia nationality. The old castle no longer exists, and now the Lotus Garden is built on the original site. The restored lotus garden will be the largest lotus species and lotus culture exhibition center in the world.

Zhangjiajie Lotus Garden plans to build the world's largest lotus eco-tourism theme park with the richest variety resources. The park integrates Tujia culture, architecture, sculpture and Dutch culture, and integrates display, eating, living, traveling, shopping, entertainment, research and production. Planning area of the park 1.400 mu. At present, only the lotus boutique garden is developed, and more than 500 varieties of flowers are planted, mainly Hualien, water lily, seed lotus, bowl lotus and Wang Lian, supplemented by aquatic plants.
