What are the “sparkling points” of Nanshan Forest Park in Yunfu, Guangdong?
Originally I planned to combine several parks that I visited in this city and write a "park guide", but when I was sorting out the photos, there were more than 30 photos for each park. The pictures are reluctant to be deleted. In order to present the scenery of Yunfu to the maximum extent, I decided to separate several parks and write about them one by one. Even if Yunfu is not a popular tourist city, or even unknown, I hope that my travel notes can help you understand this small town that is different from most cities in Guangdong, its unique culture, and the scenery of "other people's homes".
Forest Town
If you are lucky enough to come to Yunfu one day, then this park must be visited? Yunfu Nanshan Forest Park.
General forest parks are far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but in Yunfu, the Forest Park is right behind the city government building and there is no admission fee. This unique geographical location and the "official aura" within easy reach are enough to make this trip worthwhile. Climbing its mountains, viewing its gardens, absorbing its atmosphere and floating clouds, this is a rare forest town in Guangdong that is not impetuous.
Nanshan Forest Park
This is the most famous park in Yunfu. It ranks at the top of the list of scenic spots in Yunfu city. But Yunfu people never regard it as a scenic spot, or even as a park. For the long-term residents of this city, Nanshan Forest Park is very ordinary. It is just a place for walking, and it has the meaning of being in a state of unhappiness. For me, who was visiting for the first time, I quickly discovered its shining point: wandering on the path by the lake, it is just a park; but once you climb the mountain, it is a forest.
So this is a comprehensive park integrating outdoor fitness, parent-child entertainment, and leisure vacation. As the Yunfu Municipal Government Building, art gallery, library, museum and cultural center are backed by green mountains and green waters, it is also a "feng shui treasure". The planned area of the park is about 12,000 acres, and part of the farmland is an "ecological demonstration area."
The farmer uncle grows vegetables, crops, and some rare crops here. At present, Yunfu has 14 kinds of national geographical indication specialties; it has held the only large-scale rice-themed exposition in Guangdong Province; in addition, it is also rich in cinnamon. Many "healthy foods" that people eat in the Pearl River Delta are produced and processed in Yunfu. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is the "big granary of Guangdong".
So, many parents from Yunfu will bring their children to play here.
For primary school students living in urban areas, Nanshan Forest Park is like a "Agricultural and Deputy Children's Palace". All experimental fields are real scenes. You can observe the growth process of those crops up close and fish them with your own hands. Xiaoyu can also learn about crop culture that is unavailable in the city. For people who like outdoor sports, the mountain road in Nanshan Forest Park has been walked countless times. I have seen an essay written by a primary school student in Yunfu on the Internet. The child said: Every weekend, his father will take him to climb the mountain, and the two of us will go to Spider Summit together?
I saw the pointing finger during the mountaineering process. There are road signs for "Spider Summit" and "Three Level Summit", but I didn't expect that the road to the top would look so eerie. There is an airtight mountain on one side, and a bottomless forest valley on the other side. From time to time, the sounds of strange animals can be heard in the trees, which makes people shudder. I decisively gave up the plan to climb to the top, about two to three hundred meters away. After that, I turned around and went back to the way I came.
Hiking
Extending from a long imitation wooden plank road, on the right hand side of the intersection is the hiking trail, paved with large stones, narrow and vertical, accompanied by It was drizzling and a bit slippery, but not that tiring. There were no tourists along the way. When we approached the Sixth Patriarch Pavilion, we vaguely saw a figure holding an umbrella. The person holding the umbrella was a middle-aged uncle. I guess he came to pick up his wife from get off work. There was a middle-aged woman who was cleaning in the Sixth Patriarch Pavilion. She looked at me while sweeping the fallen leaves. Yunfu's parks and main streets are very clean, not even a fallen leaf is left.
The Sixth Ancestor Pavilion has a great perspective, and you can see the whole city of Yunfu. The entire city is almost as big as my eyes, and I can even clearly distinguish the building where I live. A large number of high-rise residential buildings have been built in the new city. There is a famous food stall snack street in Yunfu. I will also write about it in the next travel notes. Remember to follow me and come to see it. There was a cool breeze blowing in the pavilion. I sat on the stone chair and rested for a long time before leaving. The chairs here are all "love chairs" donated by various stone cities and stone industry companies in Yunfu, and they are worthy of the name "Guangdong Stone Capital".
Going down the mountain
The signboard shows that there are ruins of a Wenbi Pagoda here. I walked along the road and didn't find this ruins. Instead, I saw a mountain spring. A middle-aged couple collected the water in mineral water buckets and carried it down the mountain in the light rain.
I asked them what kind of water this was, and the eldest sister said that this was spring water from the mountain. She boiled it to make tea and drank it all the time.
While taking shelter from the rain, I carefully observed the nearby scenery.
There is a lotus pond at the foot of the mountain. People who like fishing can spend a whole day here with professional equipment.
I have always thought that fishing is a leisure activity for the elderly. When I came to Yunfu, I realized that young people also like fishing.
When chatting in the past, their eyes never left the lake: "Fishing is good for cultivating one's moral character and knowing that nothing can be done in a hurry." ?
