How to remove the Yuedong heater water tank

If Hyundai Yuedong needs to disassemble and assemble the heater water tank when replacing it, it is recommended to go to a 4S store or repair shop for disassembly and assembly. It is not recommended to disassemble or assemble the car by yourself, as this may damage the car's heater water tank components.

The commonly used heating systems in our cars can be divided into three types: coolant heating, gas heating, and exhaust gas heating. Small cars use coolant heating. It consists of coolant, water pump, water valve, blower, heater water tank (heater core) and other parts. The coolant is heated by the engine and the heated water is pressurized by the water pump.

After passing through the rotary water valve that controls the coolant flow, it enters the heater water tank from the water inlet of the heater water pipe. The coolant entering the heater water tank enters the engine from the outlet of the heater water pipe, thus circulating . When the warm air tank (heater core) is heated by the coolant, the blower is also working. The blower sucks in the cold air from inside or outside the car, and then blows it to the warm air tank.

After turning on the heating, set the air circulation to external circulation first, so that the cold air in the car can be discharged out of the car. After about 2-3 minutes, set the air circulation to internal circulation. In addition, if the rear window is slightly opened for a period of time, the cold air will be discharged faster due to the entry of hot air, and the warming effect will be realized faster.

The most comfortable temperature for the human body is 20-25 degrees Celsius, so the temperature in the car can be controlled within this range. If the hot air is insufficient at this time to reach the expected temperature, the engine will need to do extra work to generate heat, then it starts to consume fuel.

So it is necessary to replace the heater water tank!
