The reconstruction project began in the second year of Kangxi (1663), and the new temple was completed the following year. Daxiong Hall is 30 meters high, 30 meters deep and 30 meters wide. It is dedicated to three bronze Buddha statues: Sakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha and Maitreya Buddha.
