What does the holster operation of flat plate mean?

Leather case mode: cover the leather case to automatically lock the screen, and open the leather case to automatically unlock it. If there is a window on the holster, you can still operate it to answer the phone.

To turn on holster mode, take Huawei MatePad as an example and enter Settings >；; Auxiliary function > holster operation, turn on the holster operation switch.
