Overview of luling

Ji 'an is located in the middle of Jiangxi Province and the middle reaches of Ganjiang River. It is adjacent to Lean County of Fuzhou City and Ningdu and Xingguo County of Ganzhou City in the east, Guidong, Yanling and Chaling counties of Hunan Province in the west, Ganxian, Nankang and Shangyou counties of Ganzhou City in the south, Fengcheng, Zhangshu City, Xinyu City and Pingxiang City in Yichun City in the north. Topographically, Ji 'an belongs to the middle of the Luo Xiao Mountains, adjacent to the throat passages of Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. From east to west, there are Beijing-Kowloon Railway, 105 National Highway, 3 19 National Highway and "Sannan" Highway, and there are many expressways connecting Beijing, Southwest China, South China, Fujian, Hong Kong and Macao. It can be traced back to the communication between Fujian and Guangdong in Ganjiang River, and Poyang Lake can be connected with the Yangtze River and reach the developed provinces and cities in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, occupying a special geographical position in Jiangxi Province. Since the capital was established in the Qin Dynasty, Ji 'an has been praised by the world as "a treasure house of geomantic omen, a holy land of revolution, a tourist attraction, a blessed land of investment and a highland of development" because of its long human history, good ecological environment, rich natural resources and unique geographical advantages.

Ji 'an has a long history and splendid culture. There are thousands of ancient cities-Ji 'an, a famous historical and cultural city in the south of the Yangtze River, thousands of ancient kilns-Jizhou kilns, thousands of ancient bronzes-new dry bronzes in Shang Dynasty, thousands of ancient academies-Bailuzhou Academy, thousands of ancient temples-Jingju Temple in Qingyuan Mountain, thousands of ancient villages-Beilin, Tiaoyuan and thousands of ancient temples.

Here are outstanding people, talented people and celebrities. From the Tang and Song Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were nearly 3,000 imperial examinations in Ji 'an (the first in the world), and the champion was 16. There was a historical event of "the prime minister of the two rivers, the third champion in five miles". Ouyang Xiu, one of the "Eight Masters of Tang and Song Dynasties", Wen Tianxiang, a national hero in Southern Song Dynasty, Jie Jin, editor of Yongle Dadian, Yang Wanli, a great writer in Song Dynasty, Zeng Qinghong, former vice president of China, Yu, former deputy prime minister of the State Council, Wang Zikun, a famous mathematician in China, Ouyang Ziyuan, the chief scientist of Chinese lunar exploration ("the father of Chang 'e"), Hu Quan, the patriotic minister of Southern Song Dynasty, and other historical and cultural celebrities and scholars were born here. A single spark starts a prairie fire from here, and a bright future sets sail from here. In the contemporary history of China, Ji 'an has created new glories. 1927, Mao Zedong, Zhu De and other proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation founded the first rural revolutionary base here, opened up the road of encircling cities from rural areas and seizing political power by armed forces, and forged the original ecological national spirit of "firm belief, hard work, seeking truth from facts, daring to break new paths, relying on the masses and being brave in victory"-Jinggangshan spirit.

As an old revolutionary base area, Ji 'an has made great sacrifices and contributions to the China revolution, with more than 50,000 famous revolutionary martyrs in the city. Founding generals 147 (minus the number of people who changed due to their native place, it is 145). Ji 'an is not only the city with the largest number of imperial examinations in China, but also the prefecture-level city with the largest number of founding generals in Jiangxi. According to textual research, Ji 'an is also the ancestral home of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping, great men of the century.
