Such people, when they hear the name of Ksitigarbha and see the form of Ksitigarbha, are sincerely respectful and recite it thousands of times, all the unsatisfactory things will gradually disappear, and they will find peace and happiness, and have abundant food and clothing. Even in sleep, everyone is happy.
"Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra": World Honored One, I see that all sentient beings in the future and present will make their niches with earth, stone, bamboo and wood in the clean land in the south where they live. He can make paintings, gold, silver, copper, and iron to make images of Ksitigarbha, burn incense, make offerings, and look at them with admiration. This is a place where people can gain ten kinds of benefits. What is ten? First, the land is rich and fertile; second, the family and home are eternally safe; third, the deceased ascends to heaven; fourth, the existing person lives longer; fifth, the wish comes true; sixth, there is no water and fire; seventh, wastage is eliminated; eight The first is to put an end to nightmares, the ninth is to be protected by gods when entering and exiting, and the tenth is to encounter more holy causes. World-Honored One, if living beings in the future and in the present can make such offerings wherever they live, they will gain such benefits.
The Buddha said again: World Honored One, in the future, if there are good men and women who have this sutra and the image of Bodhisattva in their residence, they will be able to read the sutra and make offerings to the Bodhisattva. I always use my divine power to protect this person day and night, and even destroy water, fire, thieves, big and small, and all evil things.
