How can the descendants of Wen Tianxiang appear in the deep mountain of Phoenix? According to the Wen family tree of Zhengqitang, Wen Tianxiang (1236~ 1282) was born in Luling, Jiangxi Province (now Ji 'an County). His name is Wenshan, the right prime minister of the Southern Song Dynasty. He was arrested in Wupoling, Haifeng County and imprisoned in Yanjing. He was indomitable and wrote Song Zhengqi. Wen Tianxiang, a 29-year-old man, was born as a scholar. During the crisis of the Southern Song Dynasty, Wen Daosheng let his wife and young son Wen Boping flee to Fengshun County. After Wen Dao became ill, 1292, the heiress Wen Boping moved to Xiapu Village, Fenghuang Mountain, and made a living while tapping the iron. Today, Wen Boping's tomb is still well preserved in Xiapu Village, and neither the tombstone nor the tomb has been damaged.

In this way, the descendants of Wen will be propagated from generation to generation. According to reports, at present, descendants of Wen Tianxiang are distributed in Chaozhou, Puning, Fengshun, Lufeng, Shantou, Dongshan, Fujian, Hainan, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas 12 countries, with the most concentrated settlement in Xiapu Village, fenghuang town. Almost 3,500 people are descendants of Wen Tianxiang.

1998 On October 23rd of the lunar calendar, the reconstruction of the Wenshi Ancestral Hall was completed. Since then, Wen's descendants have regarded this day as a day to commemorate their ancestor Wen Tianxiang. In addition to Xiapu Village, descendants of the Wen family from Ji 'an, Puning and Fengshun in Jiangxi will come to Zhengqi Hall to worship their ancestors.
