2. Recruits are assigned to government agencies.

3. The recruits are assigned to the combat class to be soldiers.

This is where most recruits go, such as being assigned to cooking classes, driving classes, reconnaissance classes, artillery classes, radar classes and so on.

Recruits assigned to grass-roots companies as soldiers, first of all, have higher requirements for physical fitness. After the allocation of recruits, the physical fitness assessment standards will be upgraded to a higher level. For example, when the recruits are assigned, the qualified standard of pull-ups is 8, and after the recruits are assigned, the standard of pull-ups will be 12.

Being a soldier in the field army is very strict in management. Not only should the physical quality meet the standards, but even every company has its own standards. The standard of 5 km assessment is to pass within 23 points, but some companies require every soldier in the whole company to run within 2 1 minute and 30 seconds in order to get a ranking within 5 km of the established company. The Military Service Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that:

The Regulations of China People's Liberation Army on the Service of Soldiers in Active Service stipulates that:

Article 15: The ranks of soldiers are divided according to the nature of service:

Article 19: conferring and promoting the ranks of soldiers:

Non-commissioned officers directly recruited from citizens with professional skills in non-military departments shall be awarded ranks for the first time according to their study time and professional working time in ordinary colleges and universities.

The promotion rank of noncommissioned officers in military academies upon graduation shall be determined with reference to the rank of noncommissioned officers who joined the army that year.
