How to clean Jetta throttle

1. 1. Remove the throttle: The air filter tube must be removed before removing the throttle.

2. Loosen the upper and lower two internal hexagonal handles of the throttle, about T30, with four screws in total. Remove the two suction pipes on the right side of the throttle and one pressure pipe on the left side with pliers, with three water pipes in total. Carefully pull off the throttle plug.

Step on the accelerator carefully.

You can see that the back of the throttle is dirty and you can't see it. . . I feel sick. No wonder you can't speed up, and it costs a lot of oil.

5. This is the air inlet of the engine, which can be roughly wiped with a lint-free cloth made of chemical fiber. Never use detergent. . Only when the air intake is large can the place be cleaned with detergent.

6. Well, the throttle pipe is almost clean. Let's see how the throttle gear and motor are.

First, remove the metal card around the black plastic. Be careful, it will jump everywhere.

7. After disassembly, gently open the rear cover parallel to the throttle by hand to prevent the gear from falling off.

8. This is the inside of the 07 Jetta cix electronic throttle.

9. Lubricate the motor and gear with original engine oil.

10. Also lubricate the rear column of the motor. Finally, replace the motor, fix the gear, plug the washer, cover it, and knock the metal card back and fix it.

12. After reassembly, install four screws, tighten and fix them, then insert three pipes, and then insert them.
