A composition describing the changes of leaves, weather and people in autumn
when I came to the grove, I looked up and saw that ginkgo garden, which was originally green, had changed into a golden autumn dress, but there was still some green. I couldn't help but pick up a piece of Ginkgo biloba just before my feet and study it: it looked like a small and exquisite cattail leaf fan, which seemed to fan the coolness of autumn. If the petiole was upward, it really looked like a skirt worn by a little girl. Its slender and long petiole dragged behind me like a pigtail. I saw veins thinner than needles and very clear, spreading in all directions along the main handle. This is really like fireworks on festivals. I think it must have been carefully carved by nature and mother tree. The edges of leaves are rugged, like waves in the sea, and "one wave after another" gives people a soft feeling. I can't help but feel it. Wow, its rough feel is scratched. It seems that a symphony has been played, cheering for the arrival of autumn. From time to time, there are handfuls of yellow-green fans falling from my eyes. Some of them are like professional dancers waltzing in the air, some are like larks flying lightly, and some are spinning as if they are performing skydiving in the air.
Just as I was intoxicated, a piece of red attracted my attention. Take a closer look, oh! It turned out to be a maple tree. The flaming maple leaves dyed the horizon red, just like a sunrise. It's really "frosty leaves are redder than February flowers"! A gust of autumn wind blew, and the palm-like red maple leaves rustled, as if clapping for autumn. At this time, the magnolia leaves on the side also fell down. I picked up a magnolia leaf and observed it carefully: it was more like a boat, with thick and big stems on the dark green leaves, which was particularly obvious. The front felt very smooth, surrounded by a yellow frame, and the back of the wide leaves was uneven, with a layer of brown hair, short and dense. Rows of leafy camphor trees on the road, their leaves are still so green. I picked up a piece and looked at it. I saw that it was green all over, with only a little yellowish on the edge, which really looked like wearing a coat with yellow in the green. The straight main handle was dragged behind like a small tail, and the veins thicker than the hair were scattered around the leaves in an orderly way, and the edges of the leaves were as high as "peaks". It's like a "mountain stream". From time to time, it gives off a fragrance, which not only smells fragrant, but also can repel insects. Camphor is extracted from this, which reminds me that "Camphor Tree in Soong Ching Ling's Former Residence" is about two camphor trees in front of her house, which are evergreen all the year round.
I love autumn, and I love these colorful leaves even more, because their world is more beautiful and life is better.
