Brief introduction of Como, Italy

Como, a city at the southern foot of the Alps in northern Italy. At the southwest end of Lake Como, 40 kilometers north of Milan. Population: 84834(20 13). Silk industry has a long history (starting from 15 10) and enjoys a world reputation, as well as other industries such as electrical appliances, silverware and enamel. It is a railway interchange and tourist center leading to Switzerland.
