The human history of Luzhen
Luzhen Old Street is located in Luzhen Township, Southwest Nanshan District, Shucheng County, 45 kilometers away from the county seat, adjacent to Zhong Yi Township, Tongcheng City, and the provincial highway Shu Road passes through Luzhen Old Street. In the eight years of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, it was recorded in the "Xiumen Monument": "The gorge is like a door, and the residents gather. Because of the name of this government, it is called Lu Zhenguan. "
According to Shucheng County Records, Luzhen Old Street has a history of more than 300 years. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to Luzhou Prefecture, which was an important road for security (fat) and celebration, and was a battleground for military strategists. According to legend, when Zhu Yuanzhang was at war with Chen Youliang, he passed by here to station troops. Up to now, there are still ditch marks on the slate road that have been run over by chariots. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, the number of soldiers stationed in business increased, gradually becoming a small town and prospering.
During the Qing Dynasty, bandits were serious here. Although there is a garrison, because it is at the junction of counties and States, the mountains are high and the roads are far, and the officials of the two places shirk each other and the people are poor. For this reason, in the forty-third year of Qianlong, the court set up a "forbidden monument" in the old street, saying, "The main hall is added with five levels." Officials in surrounding counties have to obey management, dispatch and * * * to prevent bandits and thieves. Twenty-four years after the Republic of China, the 28 th Red Army, the West Anhui detachment and local guerrillas engaged in revolutionary activities here.
