Brief introduction of Xu Huaqing

Xu Huaqing (1788- 1850), born in Xujiahuan, Zhongjing Town, Linzi District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, was a general in the late Qing Dynasty. During the Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty (1796- 1820), Wu was the only scholar in Zibo. He once led the army to counter-insurgency in the northwest and repeatedly made outstanding achievements. As the land governor of Fujian, the British did not dare to invade for six years.
