Where is the safest place for a ship to encounter wind and waves?

It is safest to go back to Hong Kong to take shelter from the wind.

As we all know, there is no smoke without fire, and waves are mainly caused by the wind. The wind blows the sea surface, which makes the sea surface move periodically and causes waves to fluctuate. In stormy weather, every square meter area is impacted by several tons or even dozens of tons of force. In stormy weather, some ships are easily overturned by big waves, so in stormy weather, ships must return to Hong Kong to take shelter from the wind.

If the wind and waves may exceed the carrying capacity of the ship, stop and anchor, and then leave after the wind and waves have passed. If you must go, it is safer to follow the wind and waves. Avoid the side of the ship facing the wind and waves, which is easy to overturn.

Basic information

The safety assessment of ships sailing in bad weather conditions analyzes the research theory of ship navigation safety, summarizes the methods of ship safety assessment, and expounds the necessity of ship navigation safety assessment. The present situation of average accidents in the world is comprehensively analyzed, and the causes of average accidents under bad weather conditions are analyzed by using grey system theory.

This paper makes a statistical analysis on the reasons of ship inspection defects and detention, discusses the seaworthiness of ships in bad weather conditions in combination with the Technical Requirements for Safe Navigation of Seagoing Ships and related specifications, analyzes the influence of various factors on ship navigation safety from the perspectives of people, ships and environment, and establishes a scientific and systematic evaluation index system for ship navigation safety in bad weather conditions.

Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, probability influence diagram method and BP neural network method are used to evaluate the safety of ships sailing in bad weather conditions. Finally, the evaluation results of the three methods are mined by rough set theory, and the final conclusion is drawn by analyzing and verifying the data mining results. The results show that the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and the probability influence diagram method are more suitable for the safety evaluation of ship navigation under bad weather conditions.
