What mountains are there in Chengde?

Tianqiao Mountain 1

Located more than 20 kilometers east of Chengde city, it is one of the "Ten Scenes of Chengde". When people look into the distance from the top of the summer resort, they find that there is an empty jump at the top of Bangcroquet Mountain, which runs through the sky and goes straight to the natural stone arch in the depths of white clouds, that is, Tianqiao Mountain.

2. Shuangta Mountain

On a ridge 10 km west of Chengde city, two grotesque stone peaks stand side by side. The two peaks are arranged north and south, standing side by side, 2-3 meters apart and about 70 meters high. Nanfeng is slightly smaller, with a diameter of about 8 meters, while Beifeng is slightly larger, with a diameter of about 20 meters. The two stone ridge statues are two vertical towers, so they are called "Shuangta Mountain".

3. Hammer Peak

Tiehammer Peak National Forest Park is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, which surrounds the urban area of Chengde and is integrated with the famous summer resort and Waiba Temple. The total area is 6.5438+0.59 million mu, which is about 2.5 kilometers away from the urban area. The natural landscape of the park is peculiar, famous for its spectacular Danxia landform and temperate monsoon climate. Hammer Peak cableway is the longest hanging chair cableway in China at present.

4. Jiguanzi Mountain

There is a strange peak at the top of the mountain about 10 km south of Chengde city. The peak is made up of five sharp peaks arranged in a row, the shape of which is the same as that of Celosia cristata, so it is named Jiguanshan. According to legend, the peak of Jiguan Mountain is the crown of a golden rooster, which lives in the cave of Jiguan Mountain.

5. Yuanbaoshan

On the endless mountains about 8 kilometers west of Chengde City, a strange peak stands abruptly. The stone peak is about 40 meters high, with an east length of 150 meters and an altitude of 562 meters. The wall is as steep as a knife and cannot be climbed. Its shape is like a big ingot lying flat on a hill, hence the name "Yuanbaoshan".
