What is colored lead?

Color lead painting is a kind of painting form which combines sketch and color. Colored pencils can be divided into: water-soluble and insoluble, and insoluble is divided into dry and oily.

The water-soluble pen is hard and the painted color is light. You can faint after dipping in water with a brush, and the water-soluble colored pencil is similar to watercolor painting.

The dry pen is hard, the color is light, the lines are clear and the price is cheap.

Oily ones are soft, shiny, easy to develop, easy to fall off, and the color will become lighter after wiping off. Oil-colored pencils are like oil paintings.

Coloring: The basic drawing method of colored lead painting is flat drawing and parallel arrangement. Combine the lines of sketch to shape. Because colored lead has certain brush strokes, attention should be paid to the direction of lines when tiling, which has certain regularity and moderate thickness. Because waxy colored lead is a translucent material, it should be colored in the order of light color first and then dark color, otherwise the dark color will turn up.
