How to draw watercolors

Watercolor painting method is as follows:

First flatten the watercolor paper, spray water on both sides, and let the watercolor paper gently stick to the drawing board. At this time, the paper should be slightly wrinkled, and then fixed with water tape, that is, kraft paper-colored watercolor tape, which is also sprayed with water and attached to the four sides of watercolor paper respectively. When it dries, the paper fibers shrink and the watercolor paper becomes very flat. We must do a good job in the early stage, which is very beneficial to our later creation.

First of all, take the shape, roughly outline the shape of the object with water-soluble colored lead, and spray a small amount of water on the dried and framed paper before painting, so as to better control the picture sense.

Or use a large sum of money to finish the part that needs flat coating on a large area first, then use uniform strength and full color, and then change the pen and color to continue dyeing to the place that needs coloring. This part is dry. If there is more water, there will be clear connection marks in the picture, and if there is less water, it will naturally transition. At this time, dry painting can be used to adjust according to the situation, and dry painting can be used to draw nearby scenery and quickly depict nearby scenery.

Watercolor painting skills:

1, lay flat and paint, imagine the paint moving from the pen to the paper, and slowly pick up the pen. In order not to change the concentration of pigment, the pen should be painted evenly and stably. Steady the pen at the same speed. After coloring on flat paper, the pigment will flow from a small area to a place with less water.

2. Draw with an inclination of 15 degrees, and put some books on the drawing board to make the paper incline. In the process of writing, slowly drive the pigment to make the pigment spots disappear. After tilting at a certain angle, a larger area can be evenly coated. The inclination of the paper is not big, and the pigment flows slowly, and it is deposited on the paper from the area with thick pigment. After drying, the weight difference of pigment makes it flow and penetrate on the paper, thus separating to form beautiful texture.

3. Draw at an angle of 30 degrees. After increasing the inclination, apply the same amount of pigment as when the inclination is 15 degrees. Drive the paint quickly, leaving the paint under the area. When drawing, you can't move the pen back and forth and draw in one direction. Finish painting quickly and paint the next area. After drying, this is the state after the pigment flows. If you use an easel and other supports to stand up and draw, don't have too much water, try to increase the concentration of pigment and avoid the flow of pigment.

4, infiltration method, use a big brush to brush enough water. After the pigment is dissolved, it drops on the paper in a way similar to spot coating. While observing the degree of color development, continue to apply pigment. Let it go for a while. The way of color development will be affected by the characteristics of paper or the weight of pigment. Repeat the coloring test until the shape of the finished product can be basically predicted and controlled.

5, color superposition method, in color superposition, blue superimposed yellow is green, basically can be guessed. When the time is short, it can be dried by a hair dryer, but it is best not to seize the natural flow time of pigment, so this method is only used when necessary. After the base color pigment is dried, in order to prevent the bottom layer from being destroyed, the top color pigment is quickly coated. After painting, there is too much yellow at first, but once it is completely dry, it will form a sedimentary color.

6, gradient method, more paint, paint effect is strong, to prevent paint from drying fast. When the pigment is wet, wash it and brush the edges with a water-containing brush. If the water content of the brush is too much, it is difficult to drive the pigment, so the water content must be appropriately increased or decreased, and the pigment naturally flows, and the gradient effect is very gorgeous. The gradient painting method is suitable for representing scenes such as the sky and the ocean.

7, wet painting, draw the shape to be colored with a lot of water. The legend is colored, so for the convenience of inspection, a small amount of pigment is mixed in the water. Then draw in the corresponding area. The pigment spread slowly, showing the shape of the area covered by water. After designing the color matching effect in advance, apply a pigment to shape a clearer shape. While leaving a large number of empty households in the mountains, thin lines were added, which changed the flow direction and speed of pigments.

8. Dry brush painting method: brush the painting on the edge of the palette and control the pigment content with your fingers. Tilt the brush and move it slowly. In this step, you can choose to tilt the pen tip with a flat pen, or you can draw with the abdomen of a stick pen. This method is suitable for reflecting the ocean and other landscapes.

9, blank method, leaving the cup edge, modeling turning part and high-altitude area, the rest of the painting. Because of the simple operation, the retention method without blank glue is mostly used for sketching. When drawing directly without a draft, the white outline can give a brighter impression.
