Folding carton course

The course of folding paper boxes is as follows:

1. material preparation

Prepare a square piece of paper, the size of which can be adjusted as needed. Generally speaking, 10cm× 10cm or 15cm× 15cm paper is common and easy to operate.

Step 1: Fold diagonally.

Fold this square paper diagonally so that the two corners coincide. Then flatten the paper with your fingers along the folding line to ensure that the folding line is flat.

Step 2: Fold the corners.

Fold the two corners to the center of the diagonal to form a small triangle. Press the paper flat with your fingers along the fold line again to ensure that the fold line is flat.

Step 3: Fold the four corners.

Fold the remaining four corners to the center of the diagonal to form four small triangles. Press the paper flat with your fingers to ensure that the fold line is flat.

Step 4: Form the bottom of the box.

Fold the four corners of the paper inward so that the bottom presents a small square. Press the paper flat with your fingers again to make sure the bottom is flat.

Step 5: Form the four sides of the box.

Fold the four corners outward so that the paper can show the four sides of the box. Press the paper flat with your fingers, making sure that all sides are flat.

Step 6: Fix the box

Fold the inner parts of the four corners of the box into the box to fix the shape of the box.

8. Complete the paper folding box

At this point, you have completed a simple folding carton. You can decorate the box yourself according to your needs, such as pasting colored paper, cutting paper or writing greetings.

9. Other box folding methods

In addition to the above simple folding methods, there are many other shapes of folding boxes to try. For example, star-shaped boxes, heart-shaped boxes and flower-shaped boxes are all very interesting handicrafts.

10. Extended application

Folding boxes can be used not only to store small items or as gift boxes, but also to make DIY small gifts by hand, such as handmade chocolate boxes and handmade candy boxes. In addition, folding cartons can also be used as a hand-made project in educational activities to cultivate children's hands-on ability and creativity.
