Reasons for the decline of export volume of marine containers in Qinzhou Port, Guangxi

1. The year-on-year decline in container throughput in June was mainly due to the construction of the eastern line of Qinzhou Port, berth dredging, temporary traffic control, and the surge in windy weather, which greatly restricted the entry and exit of ships in Qinzhou Port. Some container shipping companies temporarily reduced the capacity of arriving in Hong Kong and reduced the number of liner calls to Qinzhou Port. It is expected that the East Line of Qinzhou Port will be put into normal use in July.

2. Affected by the decline in container throughput, the year-on-year growth rate of cargo throughput slowed down.
