What are the interesting places in Yingshan?
is located in Lechang City, Guangdong Province. The village is full of Bai families, and there are more than 1 families in the village. The ancient village has a history of 6 years, because it was once the only way for Lechang. The main buildings in the village are mainly in the Qing Dynasty, with orderly arrangement of ancient buildings and unique architectural style, mainly in blue brick houses. The pavement is paved with stone slabs, the roof beams are beautifully carved, and the top walls are painted with figures, flowers and birds, which are lifelike. The buildings are well preserved, and some famous brand numbers from the Ming Dynasty are still preserved.
Yingshan Ancient Village was built in the fifth year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (147) and has a history of 6 years. Because the Leyi Ancient Road, which ran north and south, and the Huguang Ancient Road, which ran east and west, overlapped at the entrance of the village, it became an important post station on the ancient road. Interestingly, it is different from Zhuji Lane on the ancient Meiguan Road in Nanxiong, with hundreds of surnames, while there is only one big family Bai surname here. It is said that the ancestors of the Bai family originated from Changsha, Hunan Province, and were awarded the governor of Yulin Prefecture, Guangxi, because their ancestors were admitted to the Jinshi during the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and the officials worshipped Dr. Tong Zhi. After leaving office and returning home, I passed through Huangpu and took a fancy to this treasure trove of geomantic omen. After it spread to the thirteenth Bai family, I moved south to Lingnan and built Yingshan Village here.
Yingshan Village was built earlier. According to Huang Pu's Bai Family Tree, Ding Haisui (in 147) was the 13th Sun Rusu (nephew of Si Qian) of Bai Bigong in Lechang who founded the village here in the fifth year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty. After two generations, the upper and lower rows of houses have been expanded respectively, taking shape as a village with people. Because of the superior geographical conditions and social stability, people and wealth are prosperous, and the family is prosperous and the village is big. During the Wanli period (1573-1578), large-scale construction was started, houses were built and villages were expanded, at the same time, people emigrated, and the heyday appeared for the first time, which was the fundamental reason for the large-scale appearance of buildings with characteristics of the times in Yingshan Village.
