The current situation of Kaishan Island

Currently, in accordance with the spirit of State Oceanic Administration documents, the coastal exploration work on Kaishan Island is being carried out by the Guannan County Land and Resources Bureau and the Xiangshui County Land and Resources Bureau.

On October 21, Xiangshui County Sea Area Usage Dynamic Supervision Center organized technical personnel to complete on-site measurements of Kaishan Island and two affiliated islands and reefs such as Dashi Reef and Chuanshan. During the monitoring, technicians overcame severe sea weather such as strong winds and high waves. On-site photography and "Haixingda GPS" were used for data measurement, and the measurement data were processed and analyzed in the industry to fully and accurately grasp the current situation of the island, topography and coastline change trends. This monitoring provides strong data support for the development of marine economy in our county.
