Where to see the real-time path of typhoon

According to the official website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, meteorological departments usually publish the real-time path information of typhoons on their official websites.

Forecasting the movement route of a typhoon is not an accurate prediction as soon as the typhoon is generated. In fact, it is based on the development of the typhoon, and it is constantly followed up and predicted. Of course, it may not be completely accurate in the end.

At the beginning, the typhoon was in the south of the subtropical high, and it often moved to the northwest. Once it reached the western edge of the subtropical high, it would enter the northwest of the subtropical high center. At this time, the external force it received has been changed to urge it to move eastward, and combined with the internal force, the typhoon moved to the northeast. But in general, the path of typhoon often forms a parabolic shape.

In the typhoon area, the closer to the center of the typhoon, the denser the air is, and the wind direction there moves almost along a circle centered on the center of the typhoon, so the deviation angle of the wind direction pointing to the center in the counterclockwise direction is also small; The farther away from the typhoon center, the greater the deflection angle. Typhoon landed in mainland China, mainly between Wenzhou and Shantou; Followed by the south of Shantou, less north of Wenzhou.

typhoon structure

a typhoon is a deep low-pressure system, with a very low central air pressure, and the airflow at the lower level converges significantly to the center, while the airflow at the top mainly diverges outward. If the typhoon is cut horizontally, we can see that there are three obviously different areas, from the center to the outside: typhoon eye area, cloud wall area and spiral rain belt area.

Typhoon Eye Area: It is very strange, where the wind is very light and the weather is clear, with an average diameter of 4 kilometers. The sailors who are involved in it humorously call the typhoon Eye "Xanadu".

cloud wall area: the cloud wall area around the typhoon eye, which is tens of kilometers wide and tens of kilometers high, is also called eye wall. The cloud wall is towering here, the wind is howling, the rain is pouring, the sea is churning, and the weather is the worst.

spiral rain belt area: there are spiral rain belts outside the cloud wall, where several rain (cloud) belts converge spirally around the eye wall. The rain bandwidth is tens of kilometers to hundreds of kilometers, and it is several Qian Qian meters long. There will be showers and windy weather where the rain belt passes.
