Taizhou Municipal Government

The Taizhou area is located in the east of Zhejiang. In ancient times, it was the blind land of Yangzhou. Huipu was established in the Western Han Dynasty. Linhai County was established in the Three Kingdoms. Taizhou and Linhai were established in 625 AD. In 1949, after the founding of New China, the Taizhou Area Administrative Office was stationed in Linhai. County, later changed to Linhai City.
