Five main stories of Zhou Yu
1, a finger gift.
Lu Su's family is well-off, and every shop has 10,000 Jin of grain. Zhou Yu started his army in Jiangdong, with no rations and no weapons, so he turned to Lu Su for help. Lu Su means to give gifts to each other, and then take one as a guarantee. The employees began to make 5000 yuan for Zhou Yu. Zhou Yu ordered the soldiers to take 200 bags of grain, 50 Jin each, and transport them back to the camp. In order to expand the influence of surrender, Zhou Yu borrowed a pen and paper from Lu Su and wrote the words "Reviving the Han Dynasty" on the grain wall.
2. Ancient Zhou Lang
Zhou Yu, a native of Gong Jin, was born in Shu Xian County (now Shucheng) in the Three Kingdoms period. He was handsome, proficient in temperament, resourceful and decisive, and was an outstanding general of Wu Dong in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. At the end of the Han Dynasty, the society was in turmoil, and the regime split among the heroes. After some fierce battles, Cao Cao, Sun Ce and Liu Bei were brave and laid the foundation for the tripartite confrontation between Wei, Wu and Shu. At that time, Soochow was full of talented people, and Zhou Yu and Sun Ce were very good friends. They married two daughters of the jstars.
One day, it was sunny and sunny. A singer is playing a song in Lingyan Pavilion, Pan Bo Garden, Wu Jun, with a simple piano sound and melodious style. While the singer was playing, Sun Ce and Zhou Yu came back for an outing with two ladies respectively. At this point, Zhou Yu was slightly drunk, with hazy steps and blurred eyes. Zhou Yu ordered the singer to play a song "Chant of the Long River".
It is said that "Song of the Long River" was written by Zhou Yu, and that Zhou Yu wrote this song only for Zhuge Liang, because Zhuge Liang can smell string songs and know elegance, and can hear the sound in the song. The singer played "Song of the Long River", which was peaceful and melodious at first, and gradually became excited. The sound of Jin Ge's iron horse is endless, and there are endless sighs, indignation and pride at the end. Because the singer is not proficient in this song, when she was playing, her hand trembled and turned the original bass into a strong voice. Zhou Yu, who was slightly drunk, listened and pointed out that the singer played wrong.
Later generations simplified this story into six words: "Zhou Lang cares if the song is wrong", and later people gradually used "Zhou Lang, an ancient song" to refer to people who are proficient in music.
3. A moment in Yu Liang
Zhou Yu always wanted to kill Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang, but his schemes were all destroyed by Zhuge Liang. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms describes the story of "Kong Ming's Three Qi's Zhou Gongjin". Zhou Yu is narrow-minded, but he hasn't recovered from the arrow wound. In a rage, he finally died. When he died, he looked up at the sky and sighed, "He Shengliang!" Since there is a Zhou Yu, why is there another Zhuge Liang!
This story leads to the idiom "beauty in an instant", which refers to the coexistence of two people with equal talent and ability but competing with each other.
4. Get drunk after drinking
During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhou Yu, a famous official of Wu State, was cheerful and generous, modest and kind, and got along well with North Korean officials. Only Cheng Pu is dissatisfied with him, and he often shows Zhou Yu his face by seniority. Zhou Yu didn't want to make trouble with him, and restrained himself everywhere. Cheng Pu was very moved and said with emotion that associating with him was like getting drunk.
5. Zhou Yu hits Huang Gai
During the Three Kingdoms period, the Dongwu general Huang Gai was ordered to surrender to Cao Cao's barracks. In order to gain Cao Cao's trust, Zhou Yu deliberately found an excuse to beat Huang Gai up and let Huang Gai pretend to be angry and defect to the enemy. Pang Tong persuaded Cao Cao to link the warships together, which created conditions for Zhou Yu to attack Cao Cao's army, and finally the Sun-Liu Alliance won the victory in Battle of Red Cliffs.
