Zhouji Tomb-Sweeping Day

Today is Tomb-Sweeping Day, and Tomb-Sweeping Day is one of the 24 solar terms in the China lunar calendar. According to "A Hundred Questions at the Age of Years", "Everything grows clean and bright. So it is called Qingming. " Tomb-Sweeping Day began in the Zhou Dynasty, and it is said that it originated from the "grave-sweeping" ceremony of ancient emperors and generals. Later, people followed suit and worshipped their ancestors and swept graves on this day.

Early in the morning, mom, dad and family took the bought sacrificial items to sweep the grave and go for an outing. On the way to Fenshan, I saw many graves.
